Well done to our guest Chris who came around 40th in the Gauntlet, a middle-distance race that pushed competitors to their limit via a 1.9km swim, 90km bike ride and 21km run.
The cycle route went past the Sandstone pub at the end of our lane, 3 laps of 30km.
The two marshalls controlling the junction did a very professional job. Decent blokes from York.
Chris is a tad in need of an easy day today. I’m not surprised!
