After quite a while ….
Our roving reporter has been out recently gorging himself on local gardens.
Here, it was Arley Hall, half an hour away, an oasis of beauty rightly famed
for its long herbaceous border, one of the best in Britain, together with a
huge walked garden, park and 15th century cruck barn.
